Denell & Johnathan

From the first moment we met with Denell to discuss her dream of beautiful images to capture this all-important time in her and Jonathan's lives, from their engagement session to their wedding day, there was such a connection.  We truly understand how much a couple's wedding imagery means to them and how it can impact their lives.  Denell and  Jonathan were no exception!  (No pressure here!)

They chose to be married at the beautiful Franciscan Gardens in San Juan Capistrano.  It was a beautiful sunny day and everything, down the last detail looked so lovely.  (They had a candy bar to die for!)

Denell was so happy, she was positively glowing and Jonathan immediately teared up as he caught his first glance of her as she started down the isle toward him. We are so happy that this sweet, wonderful couple got their fairy tale wedding.  Congratulations Denell and Johnathan, we wish you a lifetime of bliss!

Ella Rose

Meet sweet baby Ella Rose!  We were anxiously awaiting Ella's arrival because her mom and dad had already photographed a maternity session with us and we had penciled in their newborn session.  All we had to do was wait for Ella to make her grand entrance. When she did, Mom, Dad and Grandma brought her all the way from Orange County when Ella was only six days old!  We love the babies at this age because they are sleepy and a little easier to pose!  Ella was no exception, she was sleepy and so good, we had so much fun with her!

Charlize

Charlize

Since we photographed baby Charlize's parents wedding and maternity, we of course, were expecting to photograph their newborn baby.  Then we got the email from baby Charlize's parents wanting to schedule the photography session.  When we asked how old she was and they told us she is now six weeks old, we got a little nervous when our newborn's are older than around three to seven days!  We know it doesn't sound old, but six weeks in the newborn world is ancient, lol!

Photographing an older baby brings on a whole new list of challenges.  They typically don't sleep as much and when they do, they wake up quickly when we are trying to pose them.  Baby Charli went to sleep for about five minutes, then decided that she wanted to be awake for the entire photo session!  However, she was such a good baby, just not sleepy.  Her parents were awesome and love this little girl so much!!  We can't wait to photograph Charli again, as she continues to grow.  Welcome to the world Charli! We are so glad we had a chance to meet you!

P.S.  When you look at her photos, you may notice that right after we called it a day and mom and dad were packed up and ready to leave, Charli went to sleep in her mother's arms!  Whatever! ( Smiling)

Vanessa & Brian's Wedding

Los Willows Estate, Fallbrook, California

Beautiful and loving are two words that come to mind right away when we think of Vanessa & Brian.  Not only are they a beautiful couple, inside and out, but they are so tender and loving toward each other.

Brian could not stop putting little loving kisses on Vanessa's cheeks, her forehead, her nose, her hands and let's not forget her lips, all day!  Brian kept telling her how "cute" she was.  It was so much fun to watch them be "cute" together.

Vanessa & Brian's wedding was absolutely gorgeous at the breathtaking Los Willows Estate in Fallbrook, California. They are going to have a beautiful and loving life together.  We feel so blessed to have got to know these two and have taken their engagement and wedding photos. Vanessa & Brian, we wish you a lifetime of serendipity!

Candice & Christopher's engagenment

What can we say about Candice & Christopher, except, we love this couple!  Candice has been so excited and looking forward to their engagement shoot.  Candice made some great props, such as their initials made out of wine bottle corks. (So appropriate since they are getting married in the wine country of Temecula).  We are not sure how excited Christopher was though. He admitted to us that having his picture taken was not his favorite thing to do!  So, we showed up at Oak Canyon Park armed with jokes and ready to make both Candice & Christopher comfortable in front of the camera.  Guess what?

So not necessary!  From the moment we started until the last snap of the shutter, they were relaxed and having fun.  We laughed through the entire shoot and got to know each other a little better throughout the evening. Candice & Christopher, we had such a great time and we can hardly wait until your wedding!

Wedding season has officially begun and what better way to start it off than with the wedding of Cathy & Mike!  Cathy is an exquisite beauty and Mike is so incredibly handsome, how could their wedding be anything but breathtaking?  The weather, the couple, the venue...it was an awesome wedding and we were so honored to be a part of it!

We can't remember the last time we laughed so much during an engagement shoot, but love and laughter were definitely the theme for this session. There is no other way to describe this couple...just HAPPY!  The more we talked and got to know each other as we started photographing them we kept thinking how right they were for each other.

The way Jason smiles when he looks at Brittany and the way Brittany's eyes light up when she looks at Jason and then there's the laughter!  Always a lot of laughter... HAPPY!

We know they are happy with their images (because they told us so) and we hope they will enjoy their slideshow.  Jason and Brittany, we are so happy you chose us to be your photographers.  We can't wait for your June 2012 wedding!

Let us introduce you to Karen & Ben. We met a few months ago when they were recommended to us by Sarah & Dan, an amazing couple, who we photographed their engagement and wedding in October, 2010.

We felt a connection with Karen & Ben right away and we were thrilled when they chose Captured Moments to photograph their own engagement and wedding.

Deidra & Jordan's Engagement

Couples don't come any cuter or sweeter than this couple!  We would also like to add that they are great sports and allowed us to video their engagement session for a Captured Moments photo shoot. They were totally up for it and helped make the video special.  Some of you may have seen it. It was so much fun to shoot largely because of Deidra & Jordan!  They are so in love and so devoted to each other.  Together since the 8th grade and now ready for their June wedding and the adventure of becoming husband and wife.
