Nikki & Craig's Maternity

As I was photographing this beautiful couple, Nikki and Craig, who are about to have their first child,

I thought to myself, "How on earth am I going to put this session into words?" This blog post was

intimidating to write because I don't think my words will do this couple justice.

They are the sweetest people you would ever want to meet.   Doug and I photographed their

wedding back in September of 2010.  Their day was so lovely and sweet that between their

awesome families, their amazing friends and of course Nikki and Craig's undeniable love for each other, I teared up several times during the course of their wedding day.

I cannot tell you how thrilled we were when they contacted us and told us that they are expecting a daughter and that they wanted us to photograph their maternity session!  We always feel so honored and blessed when couples come back to us after their wedding and ask us to photograph their maternity, babies and/or their families.  Thank you so much, Nikki and Craig, for allowing us to capture such a precious time in your lives.

Josie & Matt's Wedding Day

Josie & Matt

Loved... That was clearly the theme of the day for Josie & Matt's wedding.  They spent

the day displaying their love for one another, for their families and for their friends.  They

both smiled with passion and adoration for each other, and all who watched felt empowered

by the possibility that forever just might really be possible after seeing these two

together.  There was such a warmness and a tenderness between them and they are so 

perfectly complimented.

Our associate photographer, Melissa Jewel, had the honor of photographing Josie & Matt's

engagement session as well as their beautiful wedding day.  What a joy they were for her to

work with and share in the joy of their love.

We love that you can see the true raw excitement beaming from these two as they now start their

Tawny & Sean's Wedding Day

Tawny & Sean are One!

When Tawny and Sean chose Captured Moments Photography to be their wedding photographers, we were thrilled!  Then the sadness came.   Doug and myself were already committed to another bride and groom, on their wedding day.  However, the sadness turned happy again, because our associate photographer, Melissa Jewel was available!  Melissa got the honor of photographing this lovely couple and their perfect day.

If you love red...(we do!)...you will love the vibrant colors of this wedding!   Villa de Amore provided the beautiful backdrop for their day of happiness.  Tawny and Sean, we wish you the best as you begin your new life together!  We hope you enjoy the images that we put together for their slideshow.

Joanna & Robbie's Wedding Day

  

Joanna and Robbie selected the beautiful Villa de Amore Estate in Temecula, California as the location for their December wedding.  Theirs was our last wedding for the year 2011 and it was such a joy to spend it with such a sweet and lovely couple.  Their wedding was so intimate with their families and closest friends in attendance.

We are sure when you view their slideshow, you will see the love and closeness these two share with their family, friends and each other.

Amy & Alex's Wedding

Amy & Alex's wedding day was filled with a lot of joy, love & RAIN!  They had planned a lovely outdoor wedding at the beautiful Villa de Amore, but the weather turned, just prior to the ceremony time & everything had to be moved indoors.  Villa de Amore was very accomidating, and their wedding was still very beautiful.  

We know Amy was a little disappointed, but she never let it show.  She handled it all with such grace & held her head high as her brothers walked her down the aisle to marry the man of her dreams, Alex.  Even though the weather made photographing their day a bit more challenging, we think they turned out pretty well!  Of course, you can judge for yourself as you watch their slideshow.

Crystal & Matthew's Wedding Day

Whenever Crystal & Matt are together, there is always a lot of laughter & love.  They are such a sweet couple & they have a magnetism about them that makes you want to just be around them.  

We loved getting to know these guys the past year.  We shot their engagement session in La Jolla last July.  (Crystal & Matthew's Engagement Session)  Those pictures turned out awesome (if we do say so ourselves)! How could they not... Matt is so handsome & Crystal is absolutely beautiful- check out her incredible blue eyes!!!

Crystal & Matt already have an adorable daughter named, Haylie & in late March, they will become a family of 4, with a new baby- another little girl.  We are so excited not only for them but also for us because Crystal contacted us & we get the honor of photographing their baby within 10 days of their birth!  How cool is that? Ok, back to their wedding day! We hope you enjoy a slideshow that we put together of their wedding.

Amy + Jeff: Married!

Another awesome wedding at Villa de Amore in Temecula, California!  This venue is exquisite & served as a great backdrop for this beautiful couple, Amy & Jeff.  Amy was a stunning bride & such a pleasure to get to know.  Jeff was so handsome & his smile never left his face.  

We can't tell you how wonderful it is when we meet a couple who are so sweet & are surrounded by such loving families... and we get to spend & share in the joy of their amazing day!

Monica & Jovany's Special Day

We had the pleasure of photographing Monica & Jovany's engagement pictures last June and we loved getting to know this sweet, sweet couple.  We couldn't wait to photograph their wedding!  Their wedding finally came & on Saturday, November 12th, Monica & Jovany became husband & wife! 

Their ceremony was held at St. Vincent's Catholic Church in Sun City & their reception was at Green River Golf Club in Corona.

Their wedding was absolutely beautiful, though we were a little concerned about the weather that day.  It started raining during their ceremony, but fortunately their ceremony took place inside the church.  Then the rain ceased right when we were hoping to take them outside for photographs.  Immediately after we finished, the rain started once again.  Talk about the weather working in your favor!  

 We had such a wonderful time photographing their amazing day.  Congratulations Monica & Jovany!!!

Gabriella & Ignacio's Wedding Day

Gabriella & Ignacio- what a great pair they are!  Not only are they a beautiful looking couple on the outside, but they are just as beautiful on the inside.  So, so sweet!  They have an adorable daughter named Serena.  You know the saying, "sugar & spice & everything nice"... well that is Serena.  God definitely gave her an extra helping of cuteness! 

Their wedding day was amazing- lots of love & laughter.  Once you view their slideshow we are sure you will agree.

The Best of 2011

We have got to know some really beautiful people (inside & out) during 2011.  We have shared some of the most treasured memories & made some friendships that are sure to last a lifetime.  

We count our blessings that we get to interact with people in such a personal way at such a joyous time in their lives.

Now that 2011 has come to a close & as we look ahead to another year of capturing precious moments.  We would like to share with you some of our favorite images from the past year.
