Melissa & Ryan's Engagements

We had the best time photographing Melissa & Ryan's engagement pictures!  The location was beautiful (Old Poway Park- our new favorite spot!) and so were the subjects!  Melissa & Ryan are so completely in love with each other.   We knew that as soon as we met them they had a special connection, their energy radiated an amazing love that will carry them through their lifetimes. 

A good friend of theirs played "matchmaker" with these two and since then, they've been inseparable.  This year on Valentine's Day, they decided to go snowboarding up in Big Bear.  When they were up on top of the mountain, they decided to rest for a minute.  That was when Ryan planted a sparkly red heart in the snow and asked Melissa if she wanted his heart.  

Then Ryan was holding a white box with a beautful ring inside.  Melissa immediately teared up with excitement, and after some kind words from Ryan, and Melissa shouting at the snowboarders that she was engaged, she finally said "YES"! 

We are overjoyed that this sweet couple found each other and we are really looking forward to their upcoming wedding.  Congratulations Melissa & Ryan!!!

Raina & Casey's Elegant Wedding

Raina & Casey were married at Kimberly Crest in Redlands.  The Kimberly Crest home is a picturesque French chateau style home built in 1897, and is a well preserved example of the Victorian Era in California.  The home is surrounded by beautiful gardens which made this venue, a beautiful place for Raina & Casey's wedding.  

We photographed Raina & Casey's engagements a while back in the most unique places (yes, even a cemetery!) and we love, love, love their photos!!! Since we had so much fun with their engagement shoot, we were very excited for their upcoming wedding. 

Raina & Casey are two of the warmest, friendliest people and their wedding reflected that sense of open arms and joyfulness.  Raina is so full of life, and as she walked down the aisle, Casey lit up with love & excitement.

Briana & Darren say "I Do"!

We have done many, many engagement shoots at Balboa Park, but we have yet to photograph a wedding there, until Briana & Darren! Balboa Park is indeed a very gorgeous place to have a wedding.  Briana & Darren's intimate ceremony was absolutely beautiful, and had such a variety of backdrops to photograph the newly married couple! 

Briana & Darren were surrounded by such loving family & friends.  Many of them flew in from the east coast to be there on their special day.  Even one of their good friends was their officiant! Their ceremony was breathtaking & the reception was.....how should I put this.... rockin'!!! They really knew how to celebrate with flair! All of their guests joined in on the dance floor, and were very entertained by the photo booth! 

Briana & Darren: Congratulations on your marriage, and thank you for allowing us to capture the moments of your wedding day!
